Namm Show 2014

We attended the NAMM Show and as always, it was interesting to see the future of the music business. Our mission is to look at what artists are painting in terms of guitars,  amps etc.. Here are some exhibits that really stood out for me: One of the things that impressed me was Marshall Amps Artist Collection. They have commissioned professional artists to paint their amps. Here are a couple I was really impressed with by Emily Woods-Reaper, and Anthony Flemings -Cat. Fender Custom Shop always has amazing custom painted guitars and we looked in on their exhibit. There were dozens of amazing guitars but the two I thought were really cool were Todd Krause's Crystal Telecaster and Jason Smiths Stratocaster. Todd builds guitars for Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton and has built guitars for us as well. I have personally owned a number of Jason Smith's guitars over the years.
