New York Artist Hugo Rodriguez has been one of the most popular artists we have worked with. Here is his a new creation done for the Dallas Guitar Festival, modeled after a painting he did.

This is a guitar that really represents our GZ Music/Art focus. It is a Fender USA body & an Allparts Fender neck. It has a HSH configuration with DMarzio D Sonic high output humbuckers and a mid DMarzio rail single for balance. It has custom black hardware that really compliments the effect.

We don’t often do basses but could not pass San Antonio Artist Scott Glenn’s offer to paint this Fender Jazz Bass & matching Stratocaster.

This guitar was painted by John “CRASH” Matos, a well-known, NYC-based artist in both the graffiti and fine-art communities. CRASH garnered the attention of the guitar world after painting Eric Clapton’s Fender Stratocaster, now known as “CRASH-3″, which was sold for $750,000 at the Christie’s June 2004 Crossroads Auction.
