On March 9, 2011 I had the opportunity to attend the “Eric Clapton Sale of Guitars & Amps In Aid of The Crossroads Centre” The sale was held in Manhattan, New York, at Bonham’s Auction House. I was really excited that GZ Guitars was able to purchase 3 Music Man amplifiers used by Eric on his 1970 & 80 tours along with the flight case they were shipped in. Additionally I purchased a Guitar that was custom built for Eric by Dallas luthier Michael Rowan in March of 1998.
I will be displaying some of these items in the GZ Guitars booth at the Dallas Guitar Festival April 15-18, 2011.
